Experience Reelfoot Lake as hundreds of American white pelicans gather during their fall migration. The Pelican Festival offers guided viewing tours, photography opportunities, naturalist programs and vendors. Enjoy a van tour to scenic lake areas in a welcoming community atmosphere as you take in the beauty of these majestic birds across Reelfoot’s cypress-lined waters. The white pelican migrates to Reelfoot Lake in mid-September and stays until the weather gets extremely cold around January.
