Become an Earth Explorer at Discovery Park of America and take a journey through time to discover how our planet’s climate has changed and how we can protect its future.

Through hands-on lessons and interactive discussions, guests will explore how everyday decisions shape the environment around us. From the historic uses of plants for medicine and dyes to the modern science of renewable energy and urban forestry, this program highlights practical ways to live more sustainably.

You will discover:

  • How renewable energy supports modern life and protects natural resources

  • How plants have been used historically for food, dyes and medicine

  • How greenhouses support agriculture and conservation

  • Practical ways to reduce your environmental footprint
