Astronomy Night at UTM – Telescopes Through Time

Join Dr. Lionel Crews from the University of Tennessee at Martin Astronomy Department and the Discovery Park education team for the final Astronomy Night of 2025 and the only one held at UT Martin.

Discover how telescopes work, explore different types, and learn about major telescopes and discoveries that have shaped our understanding of the universe. Guests will also enjoy a telescope activity and a guided tour of the UT Martin Observatory, located on the Latimer-Smith STEM Building.
