Step into the world of traditional leather craftsmanship with Randy Dilday in the Craftsman Cabin. In this hands-on Heritage Series workshop, Randy — an experienced leather artisan who travels the country sharing his craft — will demonstrate how pioneers prepared and hand-stitched leather to create durable, functional pieces. Participants will follow each step of the process and create their own leather purse or belt bag to take home. Space is limited to ensure personal instruction.

You will discover:

  • Traditional leather preparation techniques

  • Hand-stitching methods used by early pioneers

  • The fundamentals of leather craftsmanship

  • Step-by-step instruction from a traveling artisan

  • How to create your own leather purse or belt bag
