Christmas Kick Off in Downtown Union City

We are excited to invite you to join us as we kick off Christmas in downtown Union City on Thurs., Nov. 13, 2025! Make plans to attend the traditional lighting of the Christmas Tree ceremony and stick around to shop late with our downtown merchants during their first night of Christmas Open House Weekend.

4 – 6 p.m. Santa & Mrs. Claus will be at the Christmas Tree in front of the Obion County Courthouse for photos.
6 p.m. Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Begins
–Ornament Winners Announced
–Obion County Children’s Choir
–Voices of Union City
–Cast of 2025 Obion County Fairshow (NEW!)
–Countdown to light the Christmas Tree

Be sure to stick around after the tree lighting ceremony and enjoy shopping with our friends & neighbors in downtown Union City. Plus, don’t forget your hot chocolate from Vantage! It will truly be a magical evening in downtown Union City to officially welcome the Christmas season.

We are also excited to welcome two local food trucks downtown this evening for this special night.
